Chef / Kitchen Manager
ECI Management Group is hiring a full-time Chef / Kitchen Manager to lead dining and catering operations at the University of North Texas in Dallas. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a passion for scratch cooking, quality, and team development.
Job Responsibilities:
Oversee daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality and safety
Supervise and train kitchen staff
Manage food production, inventory, and ordering
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
Assist with menu development and catering execution
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
What We’re Looking For:
Prior experience as a chef, kitchen manager, or lead cook
Strong leadership and communication skills
ServSafe certified (preferred)
Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume environment
Professional appearance and positive attitude

Typical Hours: AM, PM shifts, Monday–Friday. Weekends vary depending on catering volume. Average 40-55 hours per week.
