Job Opportunity: Barista

Location: Down Town Fort Wroth TCCD 
Compensation: Salary + Tips
Shifts: 9am to 4:30pm

Position Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and knowledgeable Barista to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and serving both hot and cold beverages, including a wide variety of coffee and tea. You’ll also educate customers about our drinks menu, offer personalized recommendations, and ensure that each guest has an exceptional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Customer Interaction:

  • Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere

  • Provide drink menus, answer questions, and offer drink recommendations based on customer preferences

  • Take orders and carefully note any specific preferences (e.g., coffee blend, dairy vs. non-dairy, sugar ratios)

• Beverage Preparation:

  • Prepare hot and cold drinks according to recipes and customer preferences

  • Serve beverages promptly and with care

• Food Service:

  • Serve prepared food items such as cookies, pastries, and muffins

• Payment Processing:

  • Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) accurately

• Maintaining Cleanliness and Stock:

  • Keep the bar area clean and organized throughout the shift

  • Maintain stock of clean mugs, plates, and supplies

  • Ensure that brewing equipment is functioning properly and report any maintenance issues

• Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and customers

• Customer Feedback & Menu Suggestions:

  • Communicate customer feedback to management and suggest new menu items or improvements

Qualifications:

• Excellent customer service skills

• Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation and brewing equipment (experience preferred, but not required)

• Ability to work various shifts (including mornings, evenings, and weekends)

• Strong attention to detail and an enthusiasm for learning

• Positive, friendly attitude and willingness to create a great guest experience
